Memorial Day Weekend

Makenzie's first day in Nursery
Manhattan Beach
I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend. We are doing well. We had a fun weekend. Saturday we went to China Town, downtown LA. It was amazing to see all the different merchandise being sold, needless to say for very cheap. Sunday, Makenzie went into Nursery for the first time. I was expecting to stay with her but she just trooped in and didn't look back. I felt funny leaving her in their with all those big kids! :) I guess my baby is growing up!! On Monday we headed to the beach with some friends. It was a fun day, the weather was perfect and the kids loved it! There are some definite perks to living down here! Love you all.

Mother's Day Gift

My mother's day gift from Dad was that he would hang the shades on the two big windows in the loft. We have had the shades for a year and a half. Today, Dad, Justin and Brady all had a "great time" together accomplishing the task. I noticed Kresta and Madison escaped outside to the swing to avoid hearing the conversation exchange going on in the window.

Mission accomplished and all lived through it!
THANKS GUYS!!

Birthdays A-Go-Go

Meg had a great time on her 6th birthday. We wish you all could have been here with us! She celebrated with t-ball and dancing. Needless to say, it rocked out loud! ps. She got her first real bike jersey, which has empowered her to jump curbs on her bike! Wahoooooo!

On May 6, 2006 Calf #2 was born. Grandma Julie and Brady watched the birth of this little grey bull. Above are pictures of #2 alone and also next to #1 who was born this last winter. #2 is very friendly and enjoys sleeping in the green grass on a warm day.

Tyler's 3rd Birthday

Tyler really enjoyed his birthday this year. It was cute to see how excited he got. On Friday we decided to have a small birthday party for him at the Zoo. Since his friends all have zoo memberships it made for a really easy party. Then yesterday on his birthday, Tyler was up all night it turned out he got an ear infection. Makenzie was already on medicine for ear infections so with two children on antibiotics we tried to make the most of his special day. Tyler enjoyed cake and opening presents. The music instruments were a hit-they were jammin.
Congrats to Brady! It was great to see those pictures of graduation, what a fun day.
